I’m Anthony. I’m a voice actor.

Before the mic, the stage

I spent 21 years in theatre. I was a stage actor, a teacher, a director and an acting coach, and I toured as a stage performer. I studied theatre and performance at Ferrum College, then earned a graduate degree in Educational Leadership at Old Dominion University.

Voice-over brought all of that together. I study your direction, read the script for what it actually needs, and give you a performance rather than a recitation. The teacher in me reads a training course for the learner. The actor in me reads an ad for the one person watching it.

The work

I’ve delivered 3,794 voice-over jobs, every one of them on time, for clients in more than 60 countries. My voice is on finished work for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jeep, NBC 5 Chicago, Covestro and Mercer, on game-day trailers for the Minnesota Vikings, and on phone systems, training courses and podcasts.

Teaching

I also teach voice acting at VO Journey Academy, and I run Academy Voices, an audiobook production company that has published more than 810 audiobooks.
